Access to the Council

Participation by invitation

Participation in Adelphi Council's activities is by invitation only.

Invitations are extended to people who wish to deepen their understanding of the issues discussed and who share the spirit and reserved nature of the Council.

Participation in the Council presupposes not only an interest in the subjects addressed, but also the suitability of one's personal and professional profile, an aptitude for serious exchange and respect for the reserved nature of the meetings.

The Council is addressed to individuals who share

  • A genuine interest in geopolitics, defence and international scenarios
  • An aptitude for qualified and reserved dialogue
  • A profile consistent with the calibre of interlocutors and subjects addressed
  • Respect for the plurality of experiences and perspectives
  • A sense of personal responsibility, discretion and reliability

Adelphi Council does not define itself by ideological affiliations or by logics of representation. The essential criterion is the quality of the contribution each participant can bring to the dialogue.

Those who wish to be considered for an invitation may inform the Council. Each request is reviewed with care and discretion.
